Donald Mestemaker (Eagle)

Donald P. Mestemaker of Eagle, Michigan went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 92 years. He was born July 6, 1928, in Columbia Township, Michigan, the son of Henry and Margaret Mestemaker.

Donald was raised in Lyons, Michigan. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1946. He was honorably discharged in 1950. After serving in the Navy’s Construction Battalion (Seabees), Donald returned home to various jobs until he started a Residential Remodeling business that he ran until his retirement.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Chris, Mike (Kerry), and Marty and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Barbara.

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on July 31, 2021, between 1-4 pm at the DeWitt VFW Post 671, 12250 Old US 27, DeWitt, Michigan 48820.
