Deon Jermain Norman

Mr. Deon Jermain Norman (Swilley) passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Faith Hospice in Byron Center, Michigan. Age 40 years. He was born August 20, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan to Willie James Swilley and Carolyn Norman-Swilley.
Deon resided in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he was a member of True Light Baptist Church. He graduated from Buena Vista High School and was employed at Avis Car Rental and Simplot Manufacturing until his health began to decline. He loved sports and going to church. Deon always kept a smile and never complained.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Ashley Nicole and Daijah Lenae of Grand Rapids, Michigan; parents, Willie James (Doris) Swilley; brother, Lamar (Maria) Norman; nieces, Chritaysha and Dierra; nephews, DeonDre, Adrian, Lamar,
Jordan; aunt, Billie Norman; uncles, Elgin Swilley, Franklin Norman; many cousins, other relatives and friends, including a special cousin, Terrence Norman; the Blackwell family, Henry and Shirley Weaver.
Deon was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Swilley; sister, Katrina Norman; grandparents, Theotis (Mammie) Swilley; uncles, Theotis Swilley, Curtis Howard and cousin, Cleotis Swilley.
