DeMarcus Ware

Mr. DeMarcus Ware was born February 9, 1987, in Lansing, Michigan. The son of LaSonya Ware & Marshall White. He passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 39 years.

DeMarcus attended Lansing Schools and following that he received certifications in Food and Safety Quality Assurance & Hotel Management. At the time of his passing, he was employed at LG Solutions.

Traveling internationally and trying new restaurants with his children, brother, family, and friends were two of his favorite things to do. Also, DeMarcus had a great sense of fashion and liked to read books about entrepreneurship and wisdom literature.

DeMarcus leaves to cherish his memory children, Daymon Ware, Kion Pitts, D’erra Shade, and Demaria Ware; parents, LaSonya Ware and Marshall White; grandmother, Mae Ware; siblings, Taiesha (Drew) Duncan, Kordaye White, Kh’Tauri (Bernard) Sawyer, and Kenton White; nieces, Niyla Vega, Au’Vani Smith, Maevyn Duncan, and Myra Duncan; nephews, DeAndré Ware II and Drew Duncan II; aunts, Vernitha Blackwell and Constance Macon; uncles, Henry Ware and Keith White; great uncle, Michael Stringer; and many other relatives and friends.

DeMarcus was preceded in death by twin sisters, LaDayna and DeLayna Murray & grandparents, Marshall Green, Sharon Jones, and Gerald Stringer.
