Debbie A. Baker

Ms. Debbie Ann Baker passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 67 years. Debbie Ann was born on January 02, 1959, in Louisville, Mississippi, to Betty Jean and Charles Allen Walker. Debbie went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2026.

Debbie graduated from Saginaw High School in 1978. She loved to hang with friends and family. She enjoyed going to bingo, playing cards, and watching her karate shows. In 2018, Debbie was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer of the Spine. She was a cancer survivor! Her cancer might’ve affected her walking, but it never affected her mind!

Debbie leaves to cherish one son Jacquavious (Veronica) Burt, and one daughter, Donielle Cope. Five grandchildren: Jacquavious Burt Jr., Keala Burt, Khalil Burt, Eliana Parks, and Zy’Aire Price-Long. One brother, Gary Walker; one niece, Starkeisha (Ramon) Lenoir; one god-sister, Heathrine Mims; one aunt, Patricia Baker; four uncles, Bobby Ray (Sadie) Baker, Larry (Clemenstine) Baker, Charles (Easter) Baker, and Marvin Baker; three great-nieces, Tatum Walker, Kalis Hodges, and Karter Lenoir; five god-kids, Nate Riley, Torion Wilson, Levi Essex, Devonte Allen, and Jamar Hardy; special cousins, Tonua Baker, Miranda Harris, Shelia Baker, and Valerie (Kenneth) Land; special friends, Alberta Palmer, Shelain Parrish, Tracey Packard, Dorothy (Roy) Gaines, Aries (Tarik) Jefferies, Christine Agnew, Dave Harrell, the Evans Family, Rita Wilson, Angie Wingo, Lynn Rutkowski, Marquitta Ingram, Laquitta Ingram and many many more.

Debbie is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Walker; father, Charles Allen Walker; grandparents, Scott and Maggie Lee Baker; two bonus sons, Maurice Williams and Quintae Cooper; lifelong sister, Victoria Packard; two uncles, Clyde Baker and Calvin Mims; three aunts, Christine Baker Haynes, Maggie Sue Baker, and Callie Mims.
