Mr. D. C., Addison passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009, age 61. He was born September 20, 1948 in Leland, MS. He was the son of the late Demus and Amanda Addison.
D.C. moved to Chicago, IL in 1968. He later moved to Saginaw, MI in 1970. He was an employee of General Motors until his retirement. He was also employed by the Super Wal-Mart store as a sales associate until a debilitating illness hindered him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his supportive wife Geraldine Addison, four children: D.C. (Tasha) Addison, Jr. of Chicago, IL, Angie V. Addison, Steven C. Addison, Karen V. Addison (Joseph Sanders) all of Saginaw, MI; seven grandchildren: Jonathan, Jerell, Jerrod, Jevani, Jahaira, Jahan and Michael; two sisters: Alma Rucker of Chicago, IL, Shirley Goodman of Greenville, MS; three brothers: Louis Addison, an identical twin L.C. Addison of Saginaw, MI and Fulton (Bernita) Addison of Texas; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; a very special nephew L.C. Addison, Jr. He was preceded in death by one sister Bertha Addison Hayes.
