Damani Mahki Embry passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 2 months. He was born August 30, 2016 to Zaria Embry and Steven Austin, Jr. in Lansing, Michigan.
Baby Damani loved to watch cartoons and be cuddled, hugged, and kissed.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Zaria Embry and Steven Austin, Jr.; Special Aunts, Violet Embry-Watson and Darlene Embry; Grandparents, Anthony (Stephanie) Embry, Rivia Harris and Kabena Venegas; Great Grandparents, Linda Joiner and Virginia Stoker; aunts, Rivia, Amber, Mya, Sonya Lee, Veronica, Monica and Lindsey; uncles, Anthony II, MarTaveon, Malik, MarCelle, Julian, Jaylen, Devin Lee, Laron and Markeis, as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Steven Austin; Great Great Grandparents, Rosie Lee Embry and James Embry.
The family would like to express special thanks to E.W. Sparrow Hospitals Logistics Department and UAW Local 4911.
