Cynthia Pennywell

Mrs. Cynthia M. Pennywell passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 64 years. She was born September 13, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Ceola and James H. Cook.

Cynthia’s life was given to the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. She graduated from Saginaw High School. Cynthia enjoyed cooking and traveling. Cynthia was the baby girl and was loved by her whole family. If you had met Cynthia, you would have loved her personality and smile.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Loretta Cook Riggins and Nanette "Nita" Hamilton; four brothers, John E. Cook, Jerry Cook, Theodis Cook, and Jeffery Cook; nieces, Shavon Diggs and Shawn Haynes; nephews, Robin Seay, Kiwani Taylor, Brandon Beamon, and John and Todd Riggins; a host of other family and friends.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Pennywell; parents, James H. and Ceola Hamilton Cook; five brothers, James, Alvin, Freddie, Lee, and Alexander Cook; and four sisters Naomi Bandy, Revella Lewis, Darice "Tina" Reynolds, and Vickie Cook.
