Curtis George Collins passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Battle Creek, MI. Age 69 years. He was born December 14, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Ray Collins and Bennie Mae Cordwell.
Curtis attended Saginaw High School and later served in the United States Army. Curtis was a resident of Battle Creek where he was known for wearing hats with feathers and a scarf around his neck, he also enjoyed playing pool.
He leaves to cherish is memory one brother, Samuel (Verda) Cordwell; two nieces, Sandy (Corey) Davis, Tracy (Johnny) Brown; two great nieces, Core Ana and Core Asia; three cousins, Callie El-Rod, Martina Pickett, William Picket.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Ray Collins; two aunts, Marie Pickett, Odie Beatty, two uncles, George Young, John Young; grandparents, Benjamin & Albeebra Young, Lois Collins.
