Classie Mae Long-Jenkins

Mrs. Classie Mae Long-Jenkins passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Covenant HealthCare Harrison in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 43 years. She was born on May 12, 1983, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Mary Nail Long and Larry Choice.

Classie was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She completed high school and two years of college online. Classie was employed at Mercy Plus Healthcare Services and A&D Homecare. She enjoyed cooking, singing, traveling out of state with family to try new restaurants, and visiting her children. Most of all, Classie loved spending time with her son, Armoni, and grandson, King. They were her pride and joy. Classie was kind, funny, crazy, and always supportive. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband of 23 years, Marcellus Jenkins; four daughters: Marcella and Judy Jenkins, Ariona Baker, and Idasha Jones; three sons: Danail Long-Jenkins, Malachi and Armoni Jenkins; one grandson, King Long-Jenkins; sports-sons, Lionel and Michael Baldwin; one sister, Gwendolynn Long; two brothers, Larry Choice and Jerry Long; six nieces: Shaina, Allysiah, Aliza, China, Mary, Elisha; two great-nieces, Harmony and A'lisa; six nephews, Tracy (Amanda), Demarko, Devontae, Nathaniel, Bartholomew, and Montrell; two great-nephews, Rayvarion and Braylen; two aunts, Shirley and Mabel Choice; three uncles, Naval, Warren Long, and John Choice; Classie leaves many other relatives and special friends.

Classie was preceded in death by her daughter, Cassie Jenkins; her mother, Mary Nail Long; sisters, Lee and Lisa Long; favorite cousin, Susie Long; best friend, Mynesha “Big Ma” Simms; grandparents, Arrie and Jerry Long; aunts, Barbara Pipkins-Long, Lorraine, Mary, Ethel, and Carline Long, and Leann Donald; uncles, Roscoe, Wenfred, Cecil, Willie, and Wilfred Long, and Leon Choice; cousins, Kenny Choice, Sr., Kenny Choice, Jr., Lela, Eugene, and Matthew Long, Fatima Williams, Wardine Donald, Becka Choice, and Idris Everett.
