Christina Marie Cox passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 47 years. She is the daughter of John Cox and Cindy Tangel.
Chistina was a resident of Flint, Michigan. She was a devoted Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for many years and proudly served Stonegate Health Campus in Lapeer, Michigan, where her compassion and strong work ethic touched countless lives. Christina was loving, funny, and incredibly hardworking. She had a vibrant personality and joyful love for self-expression, especially through her tattoos. She adored her sea turtles and care bears. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved God deeply. Above all else, Christina loved her family. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her, and she poured her heart into being there for them. She will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, devotion, and the deep love she gave so freely.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her 2 daughters, Anijha Winters and Ania Janisewski; son, Logan Curry; grandchildren, Gunner Winters and Luka Janisewski; siblings, 3 sisters, Tiffany Cox, Kelly West, and Angel (Josh) Janisewski, and brother, Austin Cox; 5 nephews, Isiah West, David West, Noah West, Wyatt West, and Barrett Janisewski; many other family and friends including special friends, Carrie Grant and Michele Pano as well as her co-workers at Stonegate Health Campus in Lapeer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Cox and Cindy West.
