Mr. Chet Davon Davis, Jr. passed on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 62 years. He was born on Monday, May 27, 1963, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Jeaneen Armstrong and Chester Davis. 

Chet was united in marriage to Myra Callahan on Saturday, May 24, 1986. He was a hard-working selfless man who adored his family, one of his greatest accomplishments was becoming a loving husband, father and grandfather. Chet enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and being a foodie. After high school, he worked at General Motors then pursued a career in culinary arts by working at Dusty’s Cellar and ending his culinary career at the University at Michigan State University.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Myra; two daughters, Brandy and Jade; son, La’Vontay Michell; grandchildren, 6 granddaughters and 3 grandsons; mother, Jeaneen Wright; 3 brothers, Charles (Von) Walker, Neil Wright and Chester Davis; 5 sisters, Cherell Davis, Carleen Wright, Aleisha Davis, Julie Hurt, and Nykita Thorpe; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends,

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Davis and grandmother, Marion Armstrong.
