Cassandra Ann Moore

Ms. Cassandra Ann Moore was born August 31, 1962 in Saginaw, Michigan to Glenzo and Mattie B. Moore. She made her transition home on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. She was 56 years of age.

Cassandra, lovingly called “Sandy”, was a student of Saginaw Public Schools and graduated “Class of 1980.” After graduation she enrolled in the Army Reserve and later became a certified nurse. She was a mother of five children, whom she loved dearly.

Sandy had a quiet, sweet spirit. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and watching game shows. She enjoyed family events and cookouts. She was such a bright and caring soul. A lovely cornerstone for her mother in the recent years, she shared lots of companionship and support that showed the wonderful heart Sandy had. Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend will truly be missed.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her father, Glenzo Moore; son, Leonarr Moore; sister, Charlotte Moore; brother, Michael Moore; nephew, Randall Jones, Jr.

She leaves lasting memories with her mother, Mattie B. Moore; daughter, Toiya (Jermaine) Moore; sons, JoShawn, JoKwani, JoQuavis Moore; grandchildren, Monye Blackmon, Derrion McDaniels, Leonardia Moore; sister, Denise (Gregory) Townsend; brothers, Darryl (Cassandra) Moore, Timmeth (Lillie) Grays; nieces, Ranesha (Gregory) Williams, Thana Lopez, Precious Moore, Krystal Moore; nephews, Dontaye Jones, Michael (Mikey) Moore, Darryl Glenn Moore II, Darryl Demont Robinson; aunts, Jessie, Marcella, Estella, Loddree, Annie; uncle, Horace Moten; many other relatives and friends, including special friend Joseph Anderson.
