Calvin C. Wheeler

Calvin C. Wheeler, beloved son, brother, father, uncle, cousin, and friend, was called home to rest by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 46 years. He was born on Monday, July 17, 1978, in Lansing, Michigan, to his parents, Calvin Wheeler and Dr. Minnie Wheeler-Thomas.

Calvin’s education began in the Lansing School District, and he graduated from Sexton High School in 1996. He later attended Sienna Heights and obtained his bachelor’s in Community and Human Services and his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.

Calvin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Calvin leaves his memories to be cherished by the mother of his children, Lisa Wheeler; daughters, Ayanna (Jeffrey) Quackenbush and Amani Wheeler; sons, Austin and Adrian Wheeler; mother, Dr. Minnie Wheeler-Thomas; stepfather, Richard Thomas; brother, Stanley (Angela) Wheeler; niece, Jacquelyn Wheeler; nephew, Christian Wheeler; very special childhood friends and family, Clayton Burch, Dion Woods, Charles McCants, Elizabeth, Jovi, and Eamon Barnes; and many other friends and extended family.
