Reflection Of Life Arthur Cooper Armstrong Jr.
Gracing this earth on November 13, 1947, a handsome, ton-of-fun, baby boy born to Marion Ray Armstrong-Hamilton and Arthur Cooper Armstrong Sr. in Lansing, MI. Arthur went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2026. Arthur received Christ and was baptized at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church by Rev. E. Gladstone Scott.
Arthur worked for the City of Lansing, retiring in the year 2006. After retirement Arthur moved to Battle Creek, MI in which he attended Maranatha Original Church of God under the leadership of Pastor Geraldine T. Richardson. He loved the Lord and attended church faithfully. Arthur returned home to Lansing in 2016 and became very sick with Lymphedema which caused his legs and feet to swell. Due to this illness, he resided in a Nursing Home for eight years. Dimondale Nursing Home was his favorite facility because it was like an atmosphere of family and home.
He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. They were his pride and joy. He always looked forward to talking, texting and seeing them. He was a joy to all he knew and met.
Arthur was preceded in death by his daughter Alanna Latay Armstrong-Beard, sisters, Tonya Hamilton and Diane Scott, and nephew Chet Davis. He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters Jeaneen Wright and Pamela Armstrong (twins for two weeks), the love of his life and best friend, Aunt Beverly Claybrooks pf Martin, TN, uncle Gerald Russ of Lansing, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, lifetime friends, Tom Boyd Sr., Willie Jenkins (Snookie) and many cousins and friends. He will truly be missed by all. The Lord has taken him in saying, “Well done my good and faithful servant, you can come on in.”
Many thanks to Maranatha Original Church of God and Pastor Geraldine T. Richardson, to Live Outreach Ministries, Pastor Brian Clay, to Dimondale Nursing Facility-One West Nursing Staff, to Doors of Healing Tabernacle Church, Pastor Earleen Sudduth, to Family and Friends and Paradise Funeral Home.
To our brother, Bubble (Arthur) our life with you as a brother was a lifetime of joy and happiness. We will miss you tremendously until we see you again on God’s heavenly shores. We were so blessed to have a loving brother like you.
~Pamela and Jeaneen~
