Mr. Antwan Williams passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, Michigan. Age 39 years. He was born in Compton, California on Thursday, September 11, 1986, the son of Roberta Adams and Henry Lee Williams, Sr.
Antwan moved with his family to Lansing, Michigan, where he attended Lansing Eastern High School. He played football as a star quarterback, as well as basketball, baseball, and ran track. Antwan attended and graduated May 26, 2026, from Lansing Community College with his associate degree in Aviation. He was employed by Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, Ingham Counties as a manager. Antwan was a great father, brother, and a great drummer.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kaylei Williams, Antwan Williams, Jr., Atlantic Williams, and Aspen Williams; 7 sisters, Antonette Bradley, Denise Williams, Qiana Williams, Danice Williams, Alexia Williams, Lesley Shuberg, and Sarah Shuberg; 2 brothers, his twin Antonio Williams and Tyler Shuberg; 5 nieces, Mariah Williams, Zariah Williams, A’layshea Bradley, Aliana Bradley, and An’Nyla Bradley; 2 nephews, Antonio Williams, Jr. and Malachi Williams; 4 aunts, Roszetta Johnson (his favorite aunt), Geneva Hodges, Archie Davis, and Bobby Johnson; cousins, Malenda Brown, Arthur Brown, Jr., Roberta Brown, Joey Oliver, Malesha Oliver, Robert Brown, Jr., and Martaysea Brown; many other relatives including his fiancée, Amber Flores and Godparent, Robin Weaver, and friends including special friends, Jerry Lee James (his best friend since high school), Gary Fant, Dominique Simmons, Pablo Cabrera, Allen Risk, Michael Scott, Jr., Stanley Baldwin, Adrian Winnie, and Stanley Brown, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Minnie B. Johnson and Dillard Johnson; brothers, Henry Lee Williams, Jr. and Anthony Bradley; uncles, Jessie Johnson, Dillard Johnson, Jr., John W. Wade, Bobby Robinson, and Gregory Johnson; cousins, LuWana Westbrook “Aunt Sue”, and Eulanda Westbrook.
