Angela Cannon

Ms. Angela Cannon passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 59. Angela was born January 26, 1967, in Arkansas, to Willie C. Cannon and Hattie M. Cannon.

Angela was a faithful member of Redeemed Ministries, where she taught the children at church. Angela graduated from Saginaw High School Class of 1985.

Angela was passionate about working with children. She worked in Education for 28 years until she was laid off. Still with a heart to help, she joined the staff at the Saginaw Rescue Mission, where she secured homes for families. Afterwards, she took a job at the Saginaw County Mental Health organization, where she helped the homeless to find housing. Angela achieved all of this with a master's degree in social work. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in the garden and used her skills to create beautiful gardens for her mother and aunts.

Angela leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Hattie M. Cannon; three sisters, Pastor Evelyn Wesley Allen, Sharon McReynold (Calvin), and Tracie Cannon; three brothers, Casey Cannon, Marvin Cannon and Donald Cannon (Erica); nieces, Diamond, Tonya, Jodie, Semone, Angel, Desiya, Taylor, and Madison; nephews, Desmond Sr., Dontray, James (Diamond), Jerome, David, Marcell, Lil Desmond, (Jayline ), DeMarcus, Jordan, Michael, and Desmond, Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends including special aunts, Zettie Davis, Lorene Wesley, Bobbie Wesley and Pearl Smith; special uncles; Johnny B Wesley, Robert Wesley; special cousins, Shanta, Bertha, Ann, Jackie, Greg and Versie and a host of other cousins and best friends, Tamera, Jewery and Nina.

Angela was preceded in death by her father, Willie C. Cannon, uncle, Harold Wesley; and her aunt, Louise Boswell.
