In Loving Memory of Andrew Lee Cotton.
Mr. Andrew Lee Cotton passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Saginaw. Age 83 years. Andrew was born on June 3, 1943, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to John and Ruth Cotton. He peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to his family.
Andrew was a dedicated employee of General Motors, where he faithfully worked for 33 years before retiring at the young age of 50. Andrew was the proud father of three children, Arthur Lee Cotton, Felicia Cotton Williams, and Michael Cotton, who preceded him in death. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He loved taking trips back home to Mississippi, being outdoors, and especially enjoyed cutting his own grass. Andrew was a quiet and humble man, but those who knew him best appreciated his wonderful sense of humor. He could always surprise family and friends with a well-timed joke and a warm smile.
Andrew leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Annie Ruth Cotton; son, Arthur Lee (Tawana) Cotton; daughter, Felicia Rena Cotton (Alvin G.) Williams; grandchildren, Ashley Williams, Alice Williams, Artrielle Barry, Nichelle Quinn, Artquitta Quinn, Marquita Quinn, Travis Quinn, Christopher Cotton, Trayvon Cotton, Brandon Cotton, Eric Cotton, Tracy Cotton, Robbie Cotton, and Michael Frazier; two special great-grandchildren, Robbie Cotton "Man-Man," and Markowan Smith; special nephew, Leon (Angela) Cotton; a host of great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Faye (Eddie) Campbell, Nina (Jason) Clayton, and Reba Cotton; brothers, Curtis (Mary) Cotton, Sherman Cotton, and Joseph Cotton; his sisters-in-law, Ozell Riley, Carrie Cotton, and Gladys Butler; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Clark and Eddie Campbell; three special cousins (more like brothers) Hubert Williams, Johnnie Clark, and Murphy Martin, along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Ruth Cotton; son, Michael Cotton; brothers, Robert Cotton, Johnny Cotton, and Cubbie Cotton; sister, Erma Cotton; grandparents, John and Dora Cotton; and brother-in-law, Ezell Riley.
Andrew Lee Cotton will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, love for his family, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. His life touched many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
