Alfred Jackson (Lansing)

Mr. Alfred Jackson transitioned this life Thursday, January 4, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 65 years. He was born on Saturday, August 2, 1958, in Lansing, Michigan to Ossie Jackson and Pearl Morgan.

He was educated in the Lansing Public School District and attended Eastern High School and furthered his educational studies at Lansing Community College. Alfred served in the National Guard and the United States Army. He worked and retired from Red Lobster Restaurant in East Lansing.

As a self-taught piano player, songwriter, singer and skilled musician, he was affectionately known around town as “Piano Man.”

He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Shamarie Coley Sr.; five grandchildren, Shamarie Coley Jr, Shatory Coley, Armani Coley, Amarie Coley, and Semay Coley; mother, Pearl Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his father Ossie Jackson.
