Albert Taylor (Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan)

Mr. Albert Earl Taylor passed away after a sudden illness on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, and went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 62 years.

Albert, affectionately known as Al, was born November 7, 1963, in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating from Buena Vista High School, Class of 1981, Al went on to attend Michigan State University, majoring in Business Administration.

Albert relocated to California in 1998 where he worked in various positions for the State of California and FedEx until his health challenges.

Al leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mattie Taylor, and father, Charles (Onie) Taylor; he is also survived by his siblings, Lisa Coney, Rhonda McDaniel, Saginaw, Michigan, Aurora (Jason) Pastana, Rio Vista, California, Janice Hopkins, Sammie McDaniel, Atlanta, Georgia, and Ernest McDaniel, Charlotte, North Carolina; aunt and uncles, Clora Shivers, Atlanta, Georgia, and Louis Knuckles, Saginaw, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Candice (Darnell) Guyton, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Andrea Wilkins and Imani Coney, Houston, Texas, Keosha Stevens, Rio Vista, California, Dante Griffin, Salt Lake City, Utah, Kuawana Taylor, Toledo, Ohio, Monyata Butler, Saginaw, Michigan, Gregory Jr. (Steffany) Taylor, Auburn, Kentucky, and Terrell Taylor, Apple Valley, Minnesota, and several great-nieces, nephews and cousins.

Al is preceded in death by his biological father, Samuel McDaniel; grandparents, John and Ruth Knuckles; his brothers, Gregory Taylor, Zachary McDaniel, and Geofrey Greer; his sister, Carmen McDaniel; and several aunts and uncles. On Thursday, January 29, 2026, Al’s nephew, husband of his niece, Monyata, Attorney Alan Jerome Butler, Jr., passed away suddenly.
