Mr. Willie James Traylor, Jr. was born June 25, 1950 in Roanoke, Alabama to Willie James Traylor, Sr. and Annie Velma Traylor. He transitioned from this earth on Monday, August 1, 2016 to his heavenly home at the age of 66 years.
Willie James accepted the Lord as his Savior at an early age. He attended Saginaw Public Schools, graduating from Saginaw High School in 1970. He was honorably discharged after serving with the United States Army. Willie was employed by General Motors Grey Iron Foundry and Saginaw Powder Coating. Junior, as he was affectionately known, was a handyman in multiple areas. His professional handiwork caused him to become acquainted with lots of people. He loved fishing, fixing cars, and especially listening to old school music. His grandchildren captured his heart in every way. He will be missed by all who loved and adored him and his talent.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Diane Traylor; three daughters, Natasha (Cassius) Martin, Angela Buell, and Dimple Wicker; two sons, Willie Traylor, III and Arnell Johnson; one step-daughter, Charlotte Davis; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one god- sister, Celestine Harris; one brother, Lamar Jerome Traylor, Sr.; one aunt, Dolly Nolan; two uncles, William Carter and Robert Lee Carter; one sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Davis; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Crystal Tinsley and her dog, Peppy.
Willie James was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James Traylor, Sr. and Annie Velma Traylor; grandparents, Henry Carter and Katie Bell Carter, several aunts, uncles, and brothers-in-law.
