Willie Kate Davis Turner

Mrs. Willie Kate Davis Turner, our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was called to her heavenly reward on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Covenant Healthcare Cooper. Age 77 years. Kate as she was affectionately known, was born on March 10, 1935 in Jackson, Tennessee to Dora Bell Weathers Morgan and Jim Henry Morgan.
Willie Kate married Jimmie Lee Turner Jr. on September 6, 1996. She was employed by General Motors Malleable Iron and retired after 27 years of faithful service. She was also a member of UAW Local 455. Her great love for children drove her to become a school aide for Bridgeport/Spaulding School District. She was a member of Truevine Baptist Church where she served on the Nurses Guild.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Jimmie Lee Turner Jr.; one daughter, Lisa Renee Jones, Saginaw, Michigan; one stepson, Michael Turner, Detroit, Michigan; one special son, Sean A. Mack (Seans parents, Deborah & Sam Mack III); one grandson, Jordan T. Jones, Saginaw, Michigan; two brothers, Jimmy L. Morgan (Cleo), Flint, Michigan, Fred B. Morgan, Chicago, Illinois; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Hawk, Flint, Michigan, Rose Marshall, Lillie Katherine Hines both of Jackson, Tennessee, Mary Sue Brice, Pontiac, Michigan; one aunt, Earnease Fisher, Chicago, Illinois; mother and father-in-law, Jimmie and Willie Turner, Saginaw, Michigan; three brothers-in-law, Henry Yarbrough, Jackson, Tennessee, Larry Turner, Detroit, Michigan, Donald Turner, Monroe, Louisiana; three sisters-in-law, Mary McGowan, Cleodis (Johnnie) Blair, Saginaw, Michigan, Odessa (Don) Steward, Grand Blanc, Michigan; special family, Willie Morris, Deborah, Erica, Willie, Jaidin Williams; many nieces, nephews, god children, cousins, loved ones, other family and friends.
