Willie Jean Dawson

Mr. Willie Jean Dawson was called home to be with God on Friday, September 8, 2017. Age 41 years. He was born on March 29, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert Earl Dawson and Katie Johnson-Dawson.

Willie moved to Saginaw, Michigan with his father at the age of 16 years. He built his own empire of love which includes his six children and the cars he purchased and repaired. Willie loved barbequing for his family, buying and fixing up houses and spending time with his children.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his devoted companion, Michelle Burns, Saginaw, Michigan; four daughters, Honesty Dawson, Brittany Thomas, Destiny Townsend, Miracle Dawson; three sons, Willie Dawson, Jr., Jaylen Dawson-Allen and Sean Dawson-Brown; step-daughter, LaReggieona West; grandson, Allan Jones, III of Saginaw, Michigan; mother, Vernice Johnson; mother-in-law, Patricia Luna; five sisters, Felisha Johnson, Markea Johnson Burgess, Ava Johnson, Cecily Johnson, and Kalephia Johnson; three brothers, Cedric Johnson, Quincy Johnson, and Xavier Johnson; ten nieces; thirteen nephews; two aunts, Dora Tyson, Ann Woods; four uncles, Greg, Richard Lane, Jim Johnson, Hershel Crutcher; fifteen cousins, Tara (Fred) Wilson, Keytha (Terry) Hinton, Hershel Crutcher, Jr., Dewayne (Christina) Crutcher, Kowonia (Raymond) Davis, Jennifer (Tony) Jones, Dee’Angila Wallace, Jimmie Thomas, Loretta Thomas, Herbert Thomas, Dwayne (Rochelle) Thomas, Lorrell (Felicia) Thomas, LaFrance Thomas and very special cousins, Towana Thomas, Bruce Wallace; two brothers-in-law, Joe Burns, Jerry Abbott; many other relatives; special friends, Dontae Thomas, Jasper Powell, Clarence Curry, Vern Cole, Pastor Willie Smith, Jr., Shantel Allen, Marchelle Montgomery, Tiffany, DaShonda Thomas, Catherine Townsend, and Ronnikki Burton.
