Our beloved William L. Doxie transitioned from the cares of this world on April 3, 2022. He was born on May 31, 1951, in Florence, Alabama to the late Emmite and Nancy Doxie.
William was known as “Bill” to friends and family, and he truly touched the hearts of so many. You could always see Bill’s friendly face frequenting in Saginaw at Arby’s, The Texan, Burger King, or Buena Vista Community Center. He was always The life of the crowd. Bill graduated from Buena Vista High School and went on to attend Delta College. Soon after, he began working at Eaton Manufacturing before working at General Motors where he retired. Bill was a proud member of the Local UAW #467, and his interests were traveling, bowling, drawing, listening to music, and congregating with family.
Bill leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Jacqueline (Sharell) Doxie of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Dena Doxie of Saginaw, Michigan; three brothers, Larry Doxie of Las Vegas, Nevada, Leonard (Dorothy) Doxie of Lansing, Michigan, Fredereick (Shirley) of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Deborah Moore of Las Vegas, Nevada, Margaret Whitley and Alicia Doxie both of Saginaw, Michigan; two grandsons, Torrion Doxie and Deviar Doxie, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; one granddaughter, Keira Doxie; and six great- grandchildren.
Bill was predeceased in death by his parents, Emmite, and Nancy Doxie; one brother, Thomas Doxie; one brother-in-law, Jerry Whitley; one niece, Brandi Moore; one nephew, Emmite K. Doxie.
