Voncile Pierce passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center. Age 60 years. She was born February 3, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to Walter Pierce and Christine Johnson.
Voncile received her license in Cosmetology from Mojo Concept Beauty Academy. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Howells Group Adult Foster Care Home. Voncile enjoyed dancing and watching crime shows on TV. She had a very caring heart and always had an open door for anyone in need. Voncile was an outgoing person with an outspoken personality. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Tomeka (Choncie) Edwards; three sons, Derrick (Michele) Pierce, Jernard Pierce (Stephanie Mills), Vernon (Letisha) Randle; seven grandchildren, DaQuonn, Dierra, Jervonn and Derrick Pierce Jr., Veyonce Edwards, Amyia and Savion Randle; three sisters, Katherine (Bland) Motley, Brenda (Marcus) Leek, Carmaleta Johnson; five brothers, James Kirkwood, Walter Pierce Jr., Richard (Linda) Johnson, Wendell (Audreia) Johnson, Jacob (Julia) Johnson; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Valeria Hill, Harriett Jones, Vergie Packard, Christella Brown, Trina and Danny Warren.
Voncile was preceded in death by her parents, Christine Johnson and Walter Pierce; two sisters, Geraldine Browder Ruby, Deloris Johnson; a special friend, Rosco Kelly.
