Virginia L. Sugg

December 24, 1918 — April 28, 2020

Mrs. Virginia L. Sugg was born December 24, 1918 in Grand Junction, Tennessee, the daughter of James Edward Sr. and Mary (Lambert) Winston. After living a century and one additional year, she was called home to glory on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

Virginia, called “Aunt Dinna” by family and close friends, attended school in Hardeman County at The Winston School. She pursued a career in healthcare and was passionate about helping others. Virginia was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully in various ministries.

Her interests outside of work and church were fashion designs, interior designs and gardening. She had a passion for elegant and beautiful designer clothes, hats, accessories and home interior. She enjoyed working outside in her garden and watching her beautiful flowers bloom.

Aunt Dinna was a classy, beautiful and elegant lady, with a personality to match. She carried herself with poise and taught her family to do the same. Her pleasantness, calming spirit and wisdom will truly be missed and we are grateful to have had this amazing gift from God for 101 years.
