Mr. Tommie L. Williams Ham made his transition on Saturday, December 19, 2009. He was born on November 20, 1940 in Florence Alabama to the late Katie Williams and Frank Bates.
Ham graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in Saginaw Michigan. He also attended Delta College and Saginaw Business Institute. After serving in the US Army, he was honorably discharged. He retired from General Motors Mallable Iron plant in 2006. Ham loved all sports, including golf and shooting pool.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 20 years Darlene Williams of Saginaw, two daughters, Marcheta (Jessie) Todd, Flint MI. Stephanie (Greg) Dale, Ypsilanti MI. Two sons, Sterling (Tina) Jordan, Redford MI. Tommie Henderson, Saginaw MI. Five grandchildren, Bennie and Andrew (Shavon) Williams, Tulsa OK. Diamond Bates, Flint MI. Sterling and Tierra Jordan, Redford MI. One great grandson, Kah Mari Williams, Tulsa Ok. One brother, Bennie Williams and one sister, Margaret Brown, both of Saginaw. Three aunts, Lizzy Anderson, June Bradley and Vicki Lou Bradley, all of Saginaw MI. Special nephew Michael Williams, of Saginaw MI. Special cousins Emma Lee, Pee Wee, Rilous, and Jeanette. One brother in law, Andrew (Mary)Williams, Grand Rapids, Two sisters in law Andrea Tate and Sonya Lampkin, Saginaw MI. Special friends Archie Dale, Wilbur and Beatrice Long, Clifton and Anne Strother, Brenda Martin, Doug Carter and Big Dee. Special thanks to Riverside Fresenius Medical Care, TJ, and Rachael.
Ham was predeceased by his mother and step father, Katie and Bennie Williams, father Frank Bates. Sister Patsy Williams and mother and father in law Betty and Andrew Williams
