Thomas Ira Huell, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Ira Huell, Sr. passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at his residence in Saginaw, Mr. Thomas Ira Huell, Sr. was born October 13, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Louis and Rosa Lee Huell. He passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his family and faithful dog, Bailey.

Thomas graduated from Saginaw High School, “Class of 1972.” In his youth, he enjoyed karate and worked his way up to a black belt. He won many tournaments, in and out of state. He worked for General Motors Corporation Delphi Chassis for thirty-four years before retiring in 2006.

Thomas’ hobbies included walking his dog Bailey, watching the cooking channel and riding around on Saturdays listening to his music. He was a loving husband, devoted father, caring grandfather, brother and friend. His presence, smile and laughter will truly be missed but forever etched in our hearts and memory.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Rosa Lee Huell; sister, Calvita Miree; brothers, Louis Jr., Joseph, Michael, Percy Huell; niece, Shelia Smith Lewis.

He leaves to celebrate his life his wife of forty-three years, Sarah Denise Huell; daughter, Megan Marie Huell; son, Thomas Ira Huell, Jr.; grandson, Gabriel Thomas Buitron; sister, Mary (Albert) Williams; nieces, Latosha Miree, Latashia Jackson, Arlena Massenberg; special aunt, Katherine Smith; special cousins, Pastor Angela Smith-Johnson, Charles, Teddy, Lajoyce and LaDonna.
