Tameka Jenkins (Lansing)

Ms. Tameka Elise Jenkins passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 30 years. She was the daughter of Ronald Jenkins, Sr. and Carol Jenkins; born on July 13, 1989 in Lansing, Michigan.

Tameka was a life long resident of Lansing, attending schools in the Lansing School District. She graduated from Lansing Sexton High School as a proud Big Red for life. Tameka worked as a certified nurse assistant at MediLodge of Capital Area. She loved to shop and enjoyed having her hair and makeup done all the way up!!! Tameka was a proud mother of 3 boys. She loved her family and friends, all of whom will miss her tremendously.

Tameka leaves to cherish her memory 3 sons, Marcel Patterson, Elijah Lawrence and Mali’kye Arlt; parents, Ronald Jenkins, Sr. and Carol Jenkins; stepfather, Thomas Bush; sister, Sherry (Paul) Cardwell; step sister, Thomaca Bush; 2 nieces, Victraya Snead and Savannah Cardwell; nephew, Camryn Cardwell; aunt, Joyce (Floyd) McNeal; 2 uncles, George (Edith) Bradley and Percy Bradley, Jr.; six cousins, Angela Coates, Shawneeka Bradley, Shantere Bradley, Floyd McNeal, Jeremy McNeal and Deneshia Bradley; many other relatives and friends including special friends, the fathers of her sons, Romeo Patterson, Lynell Lawrence and Matthew Arlt and childhood friends from the Lewton Crew.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Percy, Sr. and Eliza Bradley; paternal grandparents, Elise Yore Williams and Richard Jenkins, Sr.; brother, Ronald Jenkins, Jr.; uncles, Larry Bradley and Richard Jenkins, Jr.
