Ms. Tameka Susan Jackson was called Home to her Lord on Friday, March 13, 2020 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 37 years. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on January 9, 1983; daughter of Yvette P. Jackson-Farrow and Lewis Avery West, Sr.

Tameka was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan. She was a high school graduate. Tameka worked several years at Meridian Magnesium Products of America in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. She loved roller skating, music, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Tameka had a very loving heart who loved everyone. She would put smiles on people’s faces because she enjoyed seeing them smile.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her mother and stepfather, Yvette P. Jackson-Farrow and Richard Farrow; sister, Carletta Nicole (Cleveland Blue, Sr.) Blue; brother, Lewis Avery West, II; 4 nieces, Nashika Williams, Jessayn Embry, Avery Y. West and Rini Farrow; 2 nephews, Cleveland Blue, Jr. and Kendrick Blue; 7 aunts, Valerie, Helen, Teresa, Joann, Shona, TomTom and Marilyn; 4 uncles, Homer, Jr., Bruce, Joel and Charles; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Avery West, Sr.; grandparents, Susan Gill, Homer and Helen Jackson; and uncle, Robert Jackson.
