Talmadge Greenlee Iii

April 30, 1942 — June 20, 2015

Mr. Talmadge Greenlee III passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at his residence. Age 73 years. He was born April 30, 1942 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Talmadge and Cillar Spivey Greenlee, the third child of thirteen children.
Talmadge moved from Kosciusko, Mississippi to Saginaw, Michigan in 1961. He was employed at Saginaw Nodular Iron for many years, and was self-employed as an auto mechanic. Most recently, he worked as a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant at Patton Group Home. Talmadge attended St. Luke Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a member of H. York Harrison Lodge #32, and was affiliated with Prince Hall, Bethel Chapter #23 Order of Eastern Star, and Buena Vista Lions Club. Talmadge taught himself to play the guitar. His hobbies also included cooking and collecting antiques and cars.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his companion, Helen Beamon; four sisters, Dorothy Askew, Chicago Illinois, Mae (Harry) Redeemar, Saginaw, Michigan, Jan Greenlee, Flint, Michigan, Irnah Reed, Elkhart, Indiana, one brother, Lenorise Greenlee, Detroit, Michigan; several nieces , Ariel Brooks, Tasha, Loni and Taneka Redeemar, April and Jennifer Canady, Jeanette Fern, Agren Brown, Tixketje Greenlee, Rhonda Briscoe, Rachelle and Saundra McDay, Renee Peeler, Trena Greenlee, Miyoshia Simmons, Crystal, and Johnnie Mae Hubbard; a special niece, JoAnn Randolph, and a special great-niece, Brittany Peeler; several nephews including special nephews, George Redeemer III, Nate Taylor and Raylon Williams; two uncles, Floyd (Gloria) Greenlee, San Diego, California, Jessie (Vera) Greenlee, Kosciusko, Mississippi; cousins, Annie, Ida, Vera Ann, Jessie Greenlee Jr. and several others; a brother-in-law, George W. Redeemer; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Jessie Drain and the Drain family, Stanley "Buster" (Marva) Gordon, Mrs. Oena McCray, Gayle McCray, Roy Patton (his boss), Phil Ray, Leonard Williams, Archie Smith, Sonny Jackson and family, his partner in crime, John Weaver, also known as John Weasel.
Mr. Greenlee was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Cillar Mae Spivey Greenlee, brothers, Otha, Earl and Nathaniel Greenlee, sisters, Catherine Masuca, Irnah Peeler, Cillar McDay and Mary Redeemer.
