Sylvia Ann Hill

Ms. Sylvia Ann Hill departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 73 years. Sylvia was born October 28, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Bob Johnson and Charlotte Utterback.

Sylvia was nurturing and outgoing. She had a smile that would light up a room. Sylvia knew no strangers and had a generous heart. She loved to cook and watch westerns, but most importantly, she loved being surrounded by her family and friends, especially with her grand and great-grandchildren. Sylvia leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Tammy Johnson, Tiffney Hill, Ann Marie (Ecka) Henderson, and Jennifer Jones; one son, Bobby Hill Jr.; grandchildren, Delano, Sparkle, Raymonta, Diamond, Trevell, Di’Teshia, Ecka III, D’Monsionna, Kaya, Bobby Jr., Cha’Nya, Elexus, Ashanti, Trish, Katherine, Daryl Jr., Marcus, Mar’Quevous, Eriyana, Tony, Erykha, Diamond T., Rahimivand, China, and Zeavon; twelve beloved great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby (Sandy) Johnson, and Jackie Utterback; special sisters, Nancy Conway, Arwhella Watt, Maggie Henderson, Lorise Granderson, and Mattie Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; also Jason Thompson whom she loved like a son.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Bob Johnson and Charlotte Utterback; stepfather, Clarence Utterback; sister, Janice Moore; brothers, Donnie Utterback and George Johnson; aunt, Leutisher Wilkins; special sisters, Norma Estacio and Louise Huntley.
