Spence Breamsey Jr. 'Rico'

January 3, 1949 — December 27, 2014

Mr. Spence Breamsey Jr. (Affectionately known as Rico), passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at his residence. Age 65 years. He was born January 3, 1949 in Gould, Arkansas to Cornelius Wright and Spence Breamsey, Sr.
Following the death of his parents when he was 1, Spence went to the home of his grandparents, Reverend Sylvester B. Breamsey and Susie (Big Mama) Breamsey in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Spence accepted Christ at an early age. Rico enjoyed a leisure life and was known for his sense of humor. He loved entertaining family and friends. A good friend to all who knew him, he truly enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a member of the Emperors and Soul Survivors Motorcycle Clubs.
Spence received a Certificate of Achievement after successfully completing the Job Corps Center Education and Work Experience Program on December 11, 1968 in Mescalero, New Mexico. He was employed at the Cottonbelt Railroad in Pine Bluff, Arkansas prior to moving to Saginaw, Michigan in 1976. Spence began employment with Saginaw Steering Gear in 1976 and was a member of UAW Local 699. He retired after thirty years of service.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters and three sons, Aretha (Taras) Clark of Bronx, New York, Remeldia Breamsey of Clinton, Mississippi, Vincent (Brentoya), LaDeno and Anthony (Michelle) Breamsy, all of Saginaw, Michigan; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie (Roosevelt) Smith of Gould, Arkansas and Ruby Thompson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; three brothers, Reverend Dr. T. L. (Jackie) Breamsey Sr. of White Hall, Arkansas, James (Leslie) Breamsey of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Willie (Phyllis) Dunning of Little Rock, Arkansas; his dear friend, Ms. Lashell Rainey; many other relatives and friends. Spence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Spence was predeceased by his parents, Cornelius Wright and Spence Breamsey Sr., brother, Lucious Breamsey, grandparents, grandmother, Sarah Wright, aunt, Rozena Breamsey, and brother-in-law, Jimmy Thompson.
