Sostenez Perez Junior passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center. He was born to Sostenez Recio Perez, Senior and Catalina Recio in Lockhart, Texas on May 9, 1930.
Sostenez married Eva Howard on May 8, 1954. She survives him. He was a longtime resident of Richville, Michigan. Sostenez Junior is survived by five sons and one daughter; Bill (Mary Ann) Perez of Deckerville, Michigan, Danny (Marie) Perez of Indiantown, Michigan, Kathy (Ron) Moncman of Vassar, Michigan, Larry (Michele) Perez of Minden City, Michigan, Jerry Perez of Reese, Michigan and Lonnie Perez of Richville, Michigan. He also leaves fourteen grandchildren whom he loved dearly,William Perez Junior, Malinda Perez, Chris Lapeer, Jenna Perez, Mike Perez, Crystal and Tim Caskey, Mike Moncman, Larry Perez Junior, Matthew Perez, David Perez, Kayla Perez, Marissa Perez, Rico Perez and Josh Perez. Junior also leaves 6 great-grandchildren whom he also loved. He also leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Eva Parks and Virginia (Joe) Riveria of Texas; his special friends, Joe and Delia Mendes; many nieces and nephews.
Junior was preceded in death by his father and mother, Sostenez Senior and Catalina Perez; eight brothers, and two sisters.
