Ms. Sherry Renee Pennington passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at University of Michigan Hospital. Age 57 years. She was born June 2, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to Marie Dunnaway and Tellious Pendelton.
Sherry was a lifelong member of Mt Olive Institutional Baptist Church. She attended Saginaw High School and Delta College. She was a graduate of Saginaw Beauty Academy. Her favorite pastime was fine dining and watching her soap operas daily. Spending time with her grand-daughter Devan is what brought her the most joy.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Rozzette Pennington, Detroit, MI; three sons, Howard Scott, Maurice Scott, Saginaw MI, Tellious Scott, Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren, Devan Makaiya, Tya Joy, Trevion and Tellious Jr.; mother, Marie Dunnaway; one sister, Gabriel Pendelton, Muskegon, MI; seven brothers, Curtis Smith Pendelton, Derrick Dunnaway, John Clark, William White, Lawrence Dunnaway, Saginaw, MI, Charles and Tellious Pendelton, Muskegon, MI; eighteen nieces and nephews; a special niece and nephew Latrice Monroe and Darnell Dunnaway; one uncle, John (Shirley) Dunnaway, Saginaw, MI; thirteen cousins including special cousins, Bradey Bland, Verdell Winn and Gwyneth Russell. Many other relatives and friends including special friends, Zelma Thomas, Harold Beverly, Carol Beverly, Baywanda Haines, Alice Faye Tyler and god sister Jo Ella Berrien.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father Tellious Pendelton; two uncles; four aunts and three nephews.
