Sheldon Maurice Parker was born November 7, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan to Vanesa L. Parker and the late Benjamin Taylor. He passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. Age 36 years.
Sheldon accepted Christ into his life as a young child and was baptized at Candlelight Missionary Baptist Church by the late Pastor Jimmie Simington. He was a member of Candlelight Church all his life.
Sheldon attended Saginaw High School. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Tupac, Doe B, Migos and PeeWee Longway. His favorite food was chicken wings and he liked playing cards. He loved barbecuing and being around his family, mainly his significant other Crystal, whom he was with for eighteen years, his daughter My’Lynn and his mother Vanesa, whom he loved dearly.
Sheldon was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Taylor; grandparents, James Parker, Rosemary Ramsy; uncle, Roland Haymon.
He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Vanesa L. Parker; daughter, My’Lynn Parker; stepson, Malik Davis; significant other, Crystal General; sisters, Jessica Parker, Magnolia Brown, Breona Martin; brothers, Andrew (Jessley) Allen, Natoreaus Parker Brown, Deondre Parker Brown (MyKing), Nehemiah Parker Brown, Benjamin Taylor, III; aunts, Wendy (Dactrick) Blackmon-Dunn, Linda (Sylvester) Howard, Maylond Susan (Nate) Burpo; uncles, Thomas Tinsley, Jamar Parker, Marvin Haymon, Zachary Gilyard, Anthony Haymon, Dennis Haymon, Joe Haymon; sisters-in-law, Candi General, Faran Gipson; brothers-in-law, David General, II, Michael General; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Kenneth Skinner, Sheldon Harris, Robert Moore, Eric Magee, Chester Evans, Donald Gipson, Jr. "Baby Ray" and Stacey Evans.
