Shawndale T. Osborne (Lansing)

Shawndale passed away on November 14, 2021, in Lansing, MI at the age of 37. Shawndale was born on July 12, 1984, in Lansing MI to Eugene Osborne and Tina Bodiford.

Shawndale graduated from Sexton High School in Lansing MI. He formerly worked as a training supervisor at Trans Dev for many of years. Shawndale had just started his own business as a cook and a t-shirt designer. Shawndale was passionate about cooking and blessed many with his gourmet meals. Shawndale had strength like no other. He was hardworking and goal oriented. He loved to make people laugh and missed his calling as a comedian. Shawndale was known to make the most hilarious YouTube videos and internet memes. He was always someone you could count on and always helped his loved ones and friends. He had a beautiful spirit and a loving heart. Shawndale always managed to see the beauty in some of the ugliest situations. Most importantly, Shawndale was a loving and devoted father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. He was passionate about his people and his beliefs.

Shawndale leaves to cherish his memories his daughters A’Marie Jean-Jebrell Martin-Osborne and Promyss Shawniah Martin-Osborne; mother and stepfather Tina (Thomas Downey) Bodiford-Downey; grandparents, Mary and Charlie Bodiford; sisters Audrey Bodiford, LaKiva Osborne, Tiana Downey, Diana Harris, Kasandra Williams, Kendra Williams, Nyjahrina Osborne, Corrina Osborne, and Katrina Osborne; brothers Maurice Bodiford-Jordan, Duwone Bodiford-Jordan, Lamar Osborne, Johnail Osborne, Alex Harris, Al Harris, Anthony Williams, and Nigel Osborne; uncles Jeffery Daniels and Gary (Sharon) Bodiford; aunts Linda Giles and Barbara Giles, several nephews and nieces; many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, friends, and special and dear friend Sharieva Eirosius.

Shawndale was preceded in death by his father Eugene Osborne; sister Mariah Bodiford; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Osborne; great grandparents Robert (Essie) Marell and Reverend David Lee Daniels; and nephew Jerrell Bodiford-Jordan.
