Sergio Eden Flores (Rio Grande, Tx)

Sergio Eden Flores, 71, formally from Lansing, Michigan, passed away June 19, 2020, at Rio Grande, Texas. He was born January 25, 1949 to Pedro C. and Ricarda Flores.

Sergio was a kind and generous person. Through the years, he was known to have helped many people when they were in need. He wouldn’t expect anything in return. That’s the type of person he was.

Sergio was a hardworking man with a strong work ethic. He worked for various construction companies and retired from the finishers union. Sergio was very talented. He could remodel a house from top to bottom and enjoyed doing this for his family and friends. Whether it was a big job or small he would take pride in what he was doing. He also loved music and dancing.

Eden was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro C. and Ricarda Flores; his son, Sergio Eden Flores Jr.; niece, Cynthia Lee Garcia and brother-in-law, Joe Serna.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 16 years, Maria V. Flores; his son, Eliasar Flores; daughter, Edelina Flores, along with his step daughters, Jessica (Javier) Lopez, Anabel (Eduardo) Saldana, Christine (Oscar) Galvan, and Bianca Cabello; sisters, Guillermina (Eden) Canales, Nelda (Hector) Canales, Josie Serna, and Maria Eliever (Mario) Sanchez; brother, Luis R. (Yolanda) Flores; 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild, 10 step grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
