Sandra Elaine Scroggins

Mrs. Sandra Elaine Scroggins transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Sandra was born July 21, 1951, in Anniston, Alabama., the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Tucker.

Sandra graduated from Buena Vista High School and was a loving mother of 4 children, 4 stepchildren, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Besides watching TV, Sandra’s other favorite activities were going to Bingo and the Casino.

To cherish her memory, Sandra is survived by her husband, Rickie Allen Scroggins, and leaves beautiful memories with daughters, Virtrina (William) Johnson and Darhonda Wilson; step-daughters, Caternia Works, RaKeisha Tatum; step-sons, Mark Works, Al Pippins and special son-in-law, Carlos Wilson; grandchildren, Briana McDaniel, Cassandra (Tre’) Washington, James Johnson, Charonda McDaniel, Ashley (Aubrey) Allen, Ashari Buell, Carlos (Desiree) Wilson, Kaila (Jeffrey) Barnhill, Latonya (Isaiah) Lintz, Javareon Works, Curteria Richardson, Curterius Richardson; Quanterra Tatum, Anterra Tatum, Latatyana Tatum; great-grandchildren, Janiya, Chancey Jr., Kylie, Kage, Cali, Aubrey VI, Anaiah, Ximena, Harley, Ava, Leilani, Blair, Isla, Kailen; sister, Marion Tucker; sister-in-Law, Mary (Derrick) Roberson; brothers, Raymond (Brenda) Tucker, Rochester Hills, Michigan; Joseph (Beverly) Tucker, Kentwood, Michigan; Robert (Kim) Tucker; brothers-in-law, Frank (Barbara) Scroggins, David (Shawanda) Scroggins; a host of nieces and nephews; special niece, Visa Sims (who treated Sandra as if she was her mother); many cousins, close family members, and friends that she loved dearly, but too many to name individually; special cousin/best friend, Lisa Tucker.

Sandra was preceded in death by father and mother, Raymond and Mary Tucker, mother-in-law, Bennie Scroggins, son, Kevin McDaniel, daughter, Loretta Buell, son-in-law, David Buell, sister-in-law, Tressa Sims.
