Mr. Sam E. Carter Jr. passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at Covenant Healthcare- Harrison. Age 74 years. He was born September 10, 1936 in Birmingham,
Alabama to Annie Keinon and Sam Carter Sr.
Sam was a member of Apostolic Church where he joined in 1998. He graduated form Hillman High School in Birmingham, AL. He enjoyed spending time with his
sisters, nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Sam enjoyed playing games and telling jokes. He always held a special place in his heart for his mother.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Delores Arden, Detroit, MI; three sisters, Hazel Corbin, Detroit, MI, Dorothy Keinon, Saginaw, MI, Vonseal Keinon, Saginaw, MI; five nieces, Sheila Browning, Loretta Thomas, Vershonda Cope, Michelle Thomas all of
Saginaw, MI, Nicole Williams, Detroit, MI; two
nephews, Dwayne Keinon, Arizona, a special nephew, DeShan Williams, Detroit, MI; one aunt, Emer D. Carter, Birmingham, AL; cousin, Dorothy Gillion,
Detroit, MI; many other relatives and friends including special friend Betty Harrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Keinon and Sam Carter Sr.; Betty F. Williams, Anthony Wetber, Tristin Thomas and Toneka Huff.
