June 25, 1988 — December 21, 2021

Mr. Rozier Wayne Taylor “Ro” passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 33 years old. He was born on June 25, 1988, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, the son of Elizabeth Gomez-Valladares and Reggie Taylor.

Rozier lived in Lansing his entire life. He was a family first everything else second kind of man, growing up he took great pride in being the protector of his sisters, brother, and most of all his mother. As he grew so did his capacity for love, he had many great loves in his life, friends, music, football, and basketball with his favorite team of all being the University of Michigan. but none surpassed the love he had for his children. Ro said that becoming a father not only changed his life, but saved it, and in many ways it did. Through being a dad, he became a man. He was selfless and humble, everything he did and everything he strived for, was all for his kids. He loved being in the studio, alongside his other brothers, putting his life battles into his music or meeting up to play scratch offs hoping that one day he was going to hit it big and give his family the world, but to his family that he leaves behind- he was our world.

He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Caitlin Oliver; daughter, Jordynn Taylor; son, Rozier Taylor Jr., and stepsons, Kail Smith, Caiden and Tristan Oliver; mother, Elizabeth (Larry) Valladares; father Reggie Taylor; grandmother, Antonia Gomez; sisters, Tiera “Sissy” (Josh) Woldt, Raelynn “Nan” Taylor, Isabel “Isa” Valladares, and Thalia “Masi” Valladares; brothers, Alonzo “Zo” Gomez, and Montrese Taylor; nieces, Destiny Woldt, Danica Woldt, Ar’Reylle Gomez, and Aaliyah Golden; nephews, Deyton Woldt, Carter Forbes, Leo Forbes, and Judea Golden Jr.; aunts, Monica Diaz, Cheryl Taylor, and Rhonda Taylor; uncles, Songie (Linda) Gomez, and Tim Sanders; several cousins including Lamond Hunter, Rashon Clay, Dion Benson, and Derek Ash; many other relatives and friends including Huss, Sergio and Deonte.
