Roosevelt L. Briston (Lansing)

Mr. Roosevelt Briston passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 56 years. He was born on January 20, 1966, in Jackson, Michigan to his parents, Margaret McGuire and Roosevelt Briston. 

Roosevelt enjoyed many activities, but playing poker was definitely a favorite pastime of his. He also enjoyed spending time with family and preparing food for both his family and friends. Roosevelt served in the United States Navy. 

He leaves to cherish his memory children, London McGuire, LaMaya McGuire, Ashton McGuire, Brandon O’Dell, Navaya McGuire, and Hunter Williams; grandchildren, Lataya McGuire, Vera McGuire, Miguel Ramirez-Williams, and Liliana Ramirez- Williams; mother, Margaret McGuire Banks; stepfather, Lonnie Banks, Jr.; sisters, Shalonna Banks and Gwendolyn Coney; brothers, Aaron Kelley and Sidney Banks, Sr.; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his dad, Roosevelt Briston, and the love of his life, Stephanie Williams.
