Roger Lee Jones Lil Roger passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at St. John Providence Health System. Age 33 years. He was born May 25, 1980 in Saginaw, Michigan to Roger Lee Jackson and Yvonne Jones Granny.
Roger loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved going shopping, eating and cars. Roger always had a special spark in his eye every time he talked about his son, Roger Jr. He would often say how proud he was of him and how he wanted him to do great things with his life. Roger loved to poke fun with his grandmother. They would both talk junk to one another and sit back and laugh about it. His presence will be truly missed by all who loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Roger Lee Jones Jr.; parents, Roger Lee Jackson and Yvonne Jones; a very special grandmother, Lula Jones; six sisters, Starneshia Jones, Shera Sheldon, JaLiah Thompson, Emerald Jackson, Miracle and Harmony Spivey; five brothers, Tory Jackson, Jamarcus Zeigler, Rodrick Jackson, Lorenzo Whittington, DeMon Wright; three nieces, Chaunyee Trice, Lamyah Harvey, Jamiyah Zeigler; two nephews, Tory Jamar Jackson Jr. and Armend Walker; six aunts, Sharon Williams, Debra Jones, Tracy Jones, Pearlie, Ophilia and Doris Jackson; seven uncles, Vernal Jones, Roosevelt Jones Jr., Calvin White, Houston Jackson, Warren Williams Sr., Jimmie and Andre Jackson; cousins, Markee Jones, Samara Coleman, Warren Williams, Lakeyshia and Sharonda Jones, Marcel Williams, Rundy Williams Jr., DaVondre Payton and Michelle Williams; many other relatives and friends including special cousins, ShaDanna Humes and Shatoris Jackson.
Roger was preceded in death by his grandmother, Grace Jackson, grandfather, Roosevelt Jones Sr.
