Robert L. Jordan (Ionia)

Mr. Robert Louvinder Jordan passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his residence in Ionia, Michigan. Age 66 years. He was born March 3, 1956, in Chicago, IL. The son of Thelma Doris Wells and Robert Louis Jordan.

Robert lived in Ionia, Michigan and graduated from J.W. Sexton High School. After high school, he worked as a truck driver. Robert had many hobbies, which included fixing cars and not only fixing motorcycles but riding them as well. He also enjoyed cooking.

He leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Deadato Jordan, Damion Jordan, and Robert Canty; stepdaughter, Tasha Canty; grandchildren, Deadato Jordan, Nasir Canty, Zyier Canty, Iyanna Canty, and Xochitl Jordan; sisters, Rolisa Jordan, Thelma (Cricket) Craft-Harris; brother, John E. Craft; many nieces, nephews, and those who considered him “Pops”, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He was preceded in death by Thelma Jordan, Louvinder Jordan, Melba “Tootie” Canty, Cory Stearman, and Jaden Canty.

The family would like to express special thanks those who knew Robert in the most sincere manner; those who knew him as “Bobby”, “Pops”, and “Unc” - you know who you are. We love and thank you endlessly.
