Robert Kendall 'Mickey'

Mr. Robert Lee Kendall, our loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center at the age of 72 years. He was born June 16, 1942 in Paducah, Kentucky to Corine and Willie Toney.
Robert graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in 1960. He served in the United States Army four years and was later employed by the Michigan Bell Telephone Company. Robert Lee married the love of his life, Laura Etta Clemmons, in 1968. She preceded him in death on July 23, 2013. Mickey, as he was affectionately known, enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Garrett Kendall, Trina (Kenneth) Kendall, Shanta Kendall and Angela Clemmons; sixteen grandchildren, Tasheena, Colburn, Doneshianna, LaDarius, Robert, Aaron, Torrion, JaVarius, Kentrell, Shanterrianna, Kenzaria, Japerion, Kennedy, Zayvion, Jaden and Jayalan; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley (Henry) Welch, Caroline (James) Carthan and Ella Toney; one brother, Windsor (Sue) Welch; three sisters-in-law, Lenora Clemmons, Charlene Dawkins, and Connie (James) Johnson; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Clarence Williams.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Etta Kendall, parents, Corine and Willie Toney, daughter, Charlotte Kendall, sister, Barbara Welch, nephew, Marvell Toney, and niece, Tria Toney.
Visitation: Monday, April 6, 2015 - 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
