Rico Malique Arocha

April 12, 1994 — December 11, 2017

Mr. Rico Malique Arocha passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Brevard County, Florida. Age 23 years. He was born April 12, 1994 in Saginaw, Michigan to Anthony Arrell Sullivan and Susana Arocha.

Rico was a bright star to his family and friends. He never met a stranger. Rico loved to sit and talk on any subject, and boy, could he talk! He enjoyed writing music and spending time with his family and the light of his world – his son, Phillip. Rico was determined to be the best father he could and to be a positive influence for Phillip. He was educated in the Bay City Public School system and earned a G.E.D. Rico went on to attend Delta College to pursue a degree in Business Management. While in Florida, he was employed by Checkers and Sungenta of Florida. Rico was loved and will be truly missed, especially by his namesake, Attorney Rico (Ayanna) Neal.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Phillip Gracen Arocha Harris; mother, Susana Arocha ; grandparents, Manuel and Susan Arocha, Melvin Hall and Denise Steele; four sisters, Arianna Sullivan, Raven Van Burskirk, Keyonna Feltson, Tierra M. Young; four brothers, Anthony N. Arocha, Joseph J. Arocha, Tristan A. Arocha, Christopher M. Van Burskirk; one niece, Aubrey; two nephews, Anthony N. Arocha, II, Christopher Jr.; five aunts, T’sha M. Neal; and we can’t leave out his business consultant, his special great-aunt, Sandy Neal; and many other cousins, family members, and friends too numerous to list.
