Reatha M Hawkins

Mrs. Reatha Mae Hawkins passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Age 81 years. She was born December 2, 1929 in Bessemer, Alabama to Bertha Wright Bryant and Robert Bryant.
She was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan and a member of Truevine Missionary Baptist Church. She was retired from Robinson Cleaners. She enjoyed cooking, singing and Old Turner Network Programming.
She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Sharlotte Green, Sheri Hawkins, Karolyn Hawkins, Jeri Rockett, Edie Mitchell; one sister, Barbara Doherty, Salt Lake City, UT; six sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Marion) McKee, Redford, MI, Donella (Johnnie) Brown, Saginaw, MI, Delta Hawkins, Saginaw, MI, Lula Hawkins, Detroit, MI, Mary Hawkins Ramsey, Saginaw, MI, Pauline Hawkins Williams, Detroit, MI; brother-in-law, John Doherty; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including one special nephew, Isaac Doherty, Salt Lake City, UT; special friends, Cremonia Gibson and Denise Howard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus E. Charlie Hawkins; her parents and one brother. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Saginaw Senior Care and Rehabilitation and to the staff of Hospice of Michigan.
