Raymond Darnell Wilson "Goldie"

On December 24, 2021, God called His child home to Glory. Raymond “Goldie” Wilson took on his wings and flew home to be with God. Raymond was born December 13, 1957, to Minnie Reed and Robert Bigby. His “bonus” father, Willie Lenoir, Jr.

Raymond attended Saginaw Public Schools and later obtained his GED. For those that knew Raymond, he was the life of the party. He touched many hearts. His famous saying was “I’m a good person, I don’t mess with nobody.” Raymond’s favorite pastime was spending quality time with his daughter and grandchildren. He also enjoyed extended family gatherings as well. Raymond loved all his family near and far. Raymond will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Reed, New Orleans, Louisiana; two daughters, De’Shandra Banks and Erica Chambers, Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren of Houston, Texas De’Erika and De’Kirra Banks, Azariana, Treasure, Genesis, Zacharius, Kaydin, Chambers and Noah Richards; four sisters, Barbara Moore and Tangela Broaden of New Orleans, Louisiana, Joanne Broaden and Deirdra Lenoir-Ford, Saginaw, Michigan; three brothers, James Willis, Saginaw, Michigan, Kenneth Lenoir, Atlanta, Georgia, Chris Lenoir, New Orleans, Louisiana; aunts, Margree Aldridge and Catherine Wilson, Saginaw, Earline White, Detroit, Michigan; uncles, Eddie, Perry, Terry, Kennie Wilson of Detroit, Michigan; three brothers-in-law, Smith Moore, New Orleans, Louisiana, Anthony Wilford and Charles Ford, Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters-in-law, Tonya Lenoir, Atlanta, Georgia, and Suncia Lawson, New Orleans, Louisiana; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins too many to name, but who loved him dearly; close friends, Brandon Holder, Willie Jackson (Floyd), and “bonus” mom, Raychel Dawkins.

Raymond was preceded by his father, Robert Bigby and bonus father, Willie Lenoir, Jr., aunts, Dora Lee Griffin, Dorothy Tinsley, Beverly Wilson, uncles, Josh Wilson, and Willie Wilson; many other relatives and friends.
