Patricia Clark Harris

June 24, 1955 — April 19, 2022

Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Patricia Clark Harris went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, at the age of 66 years. She was born June 24, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to James Clark Sr. and Clarice Clark.


Patricia was educated in Saginaw Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1973. She later attended Central Michigan University, and was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She then later served in the United States Army. After honorably serving, Patricia resided in Hampton, Virginia. She was well-loved by her family, friends, and co-workers.


Patricia leaves behind a lasting legacy and her memories will forever be cherished by her loving son, George "Pooh" Harris, Hampton, Virginia; sisters, Brenda McFarland, Saginaw Michigan, whom they both referred to one another as "two shoe," Leona (DeEddie) Spates, Saginaw, Michigan; Jamesetta (Emmit) Christian, Decatur, Georgia; Marcetta (Frank) Dillard, Auburn Hills, Michigan; Odeania Carruth, Sona Carruth, and Charlotte Carruth, all of Saginaw; uncle, Earl Neal, Memphis, Tennessee.


Patricia also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews including special nephew, Calvin Perry McFarland Jr., known to her as her "Mac Man;" two godbrothers, Larry and Percy Parham, and other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly including her longtime friend Charlotte McMillan-Harper, and special friends also known as the "Rat Pack," Drena Richardson, Rene Myrick, Robin Davis, Bernita Wagstaff, and Latricia King.


Patricia was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents, her father, James Clark Sr., mother, Clarice Clark; brothers, John Jones, James Clark Jr.; sister, Norma Clark-Thomas; nephew, Gregory Clark; nieces, Evelyn Faye Spates and Jazmine Clark, along with many other relatives and friends.
