Patricia Barney

On Thursday, December 24, 2015 the angels of Heaven descended upon the earth to carry Patricia Ann Barney to her eternal home. She was born September 16, 1965 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sharon and Jimmy Lee Barney.
Patricia was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan who attended Saginaw Public Schools. She was employed at Culvers Restaurant until her health began to fail. Patricia attended New Covenant Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Ron Frierson. She enjoyed gardening and listening to music. Patricia was a beautiful, God-fearing woman whose wonderful presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Brandon Mays and Anthony Mays Jr.; a host of grandchildren; her mother, Sharon Barney; one sister, LaHoma Lawrence; aunt, Yolanda Bolovis; uncle, Carlon (Sancias) Carter; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Donald Murphy.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Barney, grandmother, Ardella Carter, step- grandfather, Sylvester Johnson, sister, Wanda Lawrence, one nephew, Sam Lawrence, uncle, Ervin Carter and the father of her children, Anthony Mays Sr.
