Pamela Killen

July 23, 1953 — February 19, 2015

Ms. Pamela Marguerite Killen passed away suddenly Thursday, February 19, 2015. Age 61 years. She was the youngest daughter of the late Ulysses D. Killen and Claudine J. (McReynolds) Killen. Pam was born July 23, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan, at home on French Road.
Pam accepted Christ at an early age. Growing up, she belonged to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, later became a member of SS Simon & Jude Catholic Church until the parish closed in 2014. She then became a member of St. Mary's Cathedral (currently Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption). Pam graduated from St. Marys Cathedral High School in 1971. Following graduation, she attended Delta Community College and Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she received an associates degree.
Pam worked for Second National Bank, briefly worked for the State of Michigan and began employment with General Motors in 1982. She was a member of UAW Local 699. Pam retired in 2006 after 24 years of service.
Pam was an avid sports fan; she LOVED watching the University of Michigan football and basketball teams play. Growing up, Pam could always be found playing basketball with children in her back yard or somewhere around the neighborhood. Pam also enjoyed music and dancing. During her teen years, she would give dance lessons to her friends in her parents basement. She was a true-blue friend to all whom she befriended. Pam will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one loving daughter Donna J. Killen of Waterford, Michigan; one dear and close sister, Patricia C. (Walter) Reynolds of Livonia, Michigan; one caring brother, Emmanuel D. Killen of Saginaw, Michigan; three nieces; three nephews; two great-nieces and four great-nephews; a special aunt, Regina Bunny Booker, of Williamston, Michigan; many other loving relatives; special childhood and neighborhood friends, Nathalie Donell, Joyce Booker, Gayle Krease, Dianne Tonello, Marilyn Nevarez-Deisler, Yvonne Misko, Terry Green and Geralyn Solak-Shawn; her neighbors, friends from General Motors and Delphi in Detroit and Saginaw.
Pam was predeceased by her parents, Ulysses D. and Claudine J. Killen, seven aunts and uncles; close childhood friend, Sara Jimenez and close family friends John and Georgean Seals.
